This session included Hobbes, Pirate Captain Pirate, Manumit, and Eremander. After a successful resurrection ritual, Hobbes came back from the dead. The PCs then decided to head back to Sindus to prepare for their feast. Once at the island, Ederleigh told Hobbes about a secret underwater ruin where Bikendi kept more of his treasure. With that in mind, they decided to explore the area. Once underwater and inside the heart of the ruins, they fought a giant sapphire jellyfish and succeeded. In the final chamber was the remainder of Bikendi’s treasure including a large amount of plunder and a skeleton anchor that, when bound to The Jenny, creates 28 skeleton crew members. The PCs used these skeletons to help them build their harbor. After running into a stranded group of ex-courtesans led by Audessa Reyquio, the PCs hired them as cooks and servers for their feast and to live on Sindus. As a week passed, Tessa visited their island to tell them about a man named Fargo Vitterande sailing to Cheliax with a huge amount of high quality rum. Seeing great opportunity, they looked for Fargo’s ship and did so with great success. Combat began between the two sides, with the PCs on the winning side. Fargo surrendered but was killed by Eremander after giving little information on his motives. The PCs now had in their disposal a large amount of rum with the insignia of Arronax Endymion, lord of Hell Harbor, and food for their feast. A month before the feast began, they invited a large number of guests and friends including (but not all) Sandara, Tsadok Goldtooth, Tessa, The Master Of Gales, Pierce, and Merrill. With the day of the feast upon them and all renovations complete, the guests arrived! A lot of conversation and catching up was had between the guests and PCs, especially Sandara who told them that she nears the end of her pilgrimage. Tsadok was unimpressed with the PCs welcome and expected a more extravagant introduction. He also told Hobbes that if he is to screw anything up, the Hurricane King would be notified. Finally, the 3 pirate lords arrived: Lady Cerise Bloodmourn, Lord Mase Darimar, and Lord Avimar Sorrinash. They all greeted the PCs except for Sorrinash who more so grunted and got straight to business. He wanted to test the PCs’ knowledge of their fortifications. When that couldn’t be demonstrated, he instead told the PCs to sink a rowboat in the distance with their ballista. They succeeded at this and earned his favor. The feast carried on and a lot of fun and celebration went on. Lady Bloodmourn began to put on a bit of a musical show and asked the PCs to start their own. They all began to sing a sea shanty and to Bloodmourn’s joy, they earned her favor as well. More events took place such as disposing of rats in the kitchen and discovering a strange residue, eating dinner, and earning Mase Darimar’s favor. The PCs quickly learned through Manumit and Mase vomiting that their food was tampered with somehow. Hobbes cured both of them of the food poisoning. With both this and the rats, the PCs began to piece together that they might have a saboteur amongst them. This investigation though was cut short as a belligerently drunk Sorrinash made unwanted advances towards Audessa. Hobbes used a class ability that functions as jester’s jaunt to teleport Audessa into the kitchen, making Sorrinash confused and somewhat angry as he began to walk around drunkenly looking for her. With the feast coming to a close and guests returning to their ships to sleep for the night, the PCs learned from one of Audessa’s courtesans that Sorrinash was potentially drugged with an aphrodisiac. The courtesan was given the drink by what the PCs identify as Sefina. They rushed to her grotto to learn that not only did she do it but she’s also forced against her will because her shawl was taken by a “tiny man.” Before they arrived, a firework was set off by her, and she told the PCs that it was a signal for the man to start planting bombs on the pirate lords’ ships to blow them up. The PCs rushed to their ships and disposed of each of the bombs, preventing any ships from blowing up. With this done, they began to search for this tiny man. They searched for hours but eventually found him in the same grove the PCs fought the treants in. A fight began with the tiny man throwing countless bombs at the PCs. He was knocked unconscious then interrogated by them. They learned that he’s known as The Eel and was hired by Harrigan a long time ago and was sent to sabotage their feast and make a getaway. The PCs turned The Eel in to Sorrinash who didn’t seem to care about his plans nor his affiliation with Harrigan. However, enraged to find out he was the one who’s been sabotaging the feast and the one who made the aphrodisiac, Sorrinash scalped him and kept The Eel, most likely to torture him until death. With The Eel subdued and the feast finished, the PCs achieved an overwhelmingly successful feast, earning each of them seats on the pirate council and a level up. The session ended with the PCs wondering what Harrigan could be up to now.
