This session included Hobbes, Manumit, Pirate Captain Pirate, Kanger, and Eremander. After getting a good night's sleep from their feast, the PCs woke up early to say their farewells to their guests. Sandara Quinn and Tsadok Goldtooth had a few words to say before departing, as well as Lady Bloodmourn, Lord Darimar, and Lord Sorrinash. Bloodmourn and Darimar thanked the PCs for their wondrous hospitality and look forward to working with them while Sorrinash simply gruffed and told the PCs to attend the pirate council meeting in two weeks. With their guests gone, the PCs had a week of downtime to patch some minor things up. These included fully hiring Audessa and her crew, hiring Fargo Vitterande's former crew, and beginning the refurnishing process of The Jester's Grin into a travelling restaurant. The ship was rechristened as The Bubba Gump and renovations began. The former crew from The Jester's Grin was moved to this ship along with Matthew Roseblood as its cook and Scrinti as its captain. Scrinti however, was not pleased with outcome, as he still desires captaining as true ship. After the week of downtime passed, the PCs headed out to Fort Hazard for the council meeting. There, the PCs saw familiar pirate lords such as Tessa, Cerise, Sorrinash, etc. In addition, the PCs met 5 new pirate lords: Delemona Burie, Jolis Raffles, Hardluck Massey, Wide Olga, and Arronax Endymion. Tessa greeted the PCs and gave them a run down of how a council meeting works. After discussion, Tsadok and the Hurricane King entered the chamber and the meeting began. Multiple issues were discussed, none of extreme importance but brought up some potential objectives for the PCs such as exploring the Isle of the Black Tower to find a magical sword or finding Scags Rotgram, Harrigan's former first mate to receive information on him. After the meeting finished, the PCs returned to The Jenny and received a letter from Tessa. This letter stated that Harrigan is preparing to attack Sindus with his newly acquired fleet. If the PCs do not prepare a fleet, they will be defeated. Tessa's letter recommended also pursuing the previously mentioned objectives. Thus, the quest to prepare for Harrigan's invasion began! The PCs first recruited Merrill and Pierce's squadrons into their fleet. Before heading out for more recruiting, a man named Chambros Egrossa approached the PCs on behalf of Arronax Endymion. The PCs agreed to meet with him on his ship. There, they got more acquainted with Lord Endymion and he told them of his current plight. Lord Endymion is plagued with slander, rumors, and lies of him being a Chelish conspirator. The source comes from a place known as the Theater of Corruption in Hell Harbor, his port. In exchange for a fleet of his finest warships, Lord Endymion requested that the PCs deal with these slanderers. They accepted and set sail for Hell Harbor. Once there, they found the theater, but before entering, they were interrupted by seemingly a city guard, yelling loudly of their trespassing. The PCs could not see through the illusion and were attacked by a Barbed Devil. The devil was quickly defeated and the PCs busted into the theater. Inside, three performers awaited them, already ready for combat. These performers put up quite a fight against the PCs, but in the end, two of the three were killed. The third escaped through teleportation. Deeming the battle victorious, the PCs looted the bodies and the theater, discovering numerous papers with evidence that the performers were Chelish spies sent by House Thrune to destroy Lord Endymion's reputation. Manumit discovered the importance of House Thrune, realizing that Cheliax truly is preparing some form of invasion. After returning to Lord Endymion and returning this evidence, he rewarded the PCs with another squadron of ships, captained by an acquaintance of his. This is where the session ended.
